I had beef neckbones growing up. I did not like them. They were tasteless. So, I decided to venture out, locate some good recipes and EUREKA!!!! Here it is my delicious braised beef neckbones recipe!
- Beef neckbones
- Dried basil leaves
- Garlic powder
- Seasoned salt
- Vegetable oil
- Beef, chicken or veggie stock
- Onion, sliced
- Garlic, minced
- Tomato sauce
Season neckbones with dried basil leaves, garlic powder, seasoned salt and pepper. Heat oil in pan. Sear seasoned neckbones on all sides. Remove neckbones from pan, set aside.
In same pan, sauté onions and garlic. Add tomato sauce, thyme and stock. Stir and mix well.
Place seared neckbones in baking pan, add onion and stock mixture. Cover and bake at 325F covered for 2 hours.
Remove cover and continue to back for 20 minutes.
