My trips to Fabulous Las Vegas 10 years ago in 2012!
Folks are on social media, really engaged in the #10YearChallenge! It consists of a current 2022 selfie next to a 2012 photo. That is so underwhelming for me!
So, when I reflect back on 2012, I was jetting off to Fabulous Las Vegas BIG TIME! So, I created this unique Vegas Challenge to share photos from my many 2012 trips to Las Vegas. I snapped a whole bunch of photos in Vegas that year, so the slots must have been super tight! Taking photos of The Strip is an excellent strategy to navigate away from tight slots. I deplored this strategy back in my 2021 visits to Vegas.
So, enjoy my photos. I hope to return to Las Vegas later in 2022 or 2023. I had to cancel a February 2022 trip due to the surging Omicron variant. It’s important for me to put personal safety over fun in travel. I am fully vaccinated and boosted, plus with flu jab. So, I am very patient. But for now, enjoy my 2012 photos!
Yeah baby!!!! That’s me in 2012 at the Fabulous Las Vegas Sign!In 2012 the atrium at the Venetian Palazzo had this awesome Carnevale shows!!!Every January, there was a faculty development conference in Las Vegas. In 2012, it convened at Paris Las Vegas.Nice stay at Bellagio in July 2012.I used to ALWAYS dine here at Le Cafe Ile St. Louis at Paris Las Vegas. They served the best Salade niçoise, but that restaurant closed years ago, way before the pandemic. Once they closed, I just started doing fast food while in Vegas. December 2012, I wonder who won that match. I always enjoy snapping photos of MGM’s lion.I stayed at Luxor once in 2012. I love taking photos here, but I do not love the hotel casino. IJSCosmopolitan during my May 2012 trip.LOL! Snapped at the Hawaiian Marketplace back in 2012, but this marketplace is now gone.Just some random photos that I snapped along Las Vegas Boulevard in May 2012.More random photos. But, notice that Bill’s Gambling Saloon has a name change. Gordon Ramsay’s Pub & Grill opened at Caesar’s Palace on December 18, 2012.I love my window seats on Southwest. But, back in 2012, I do not think the Early Bird fee was yet operationalized. Back in 2012, the biggest worry was turbulence, not COVID. Sigh….
