My flight out of Harry Reid International Airport to Chicago’s Midway International Airport on December 16, 2021

Is holiday air travel safe? YES!!!!!

I do not believe that holiday air travel in the US is a problem! Airports and airplanes are regulated for safety by the federal government. The risk for contracting COVID takes place once travelers reach their destinations. That is where indoor venues take place when masks are removed, and social distancing is ignored, but whatever.

I air traveled a LOT in 2021. I jetted off to Fabulous Las Vegas four (4) times with trips in June, July, September and December.

I don’t know if I am a jetsetter or a badass. Regardless, I am a very safe and cautious air traveler.

COVID infections, regardless of the variants, is spreading exponentially. Air travel is NOT a problem. But, I am shocked that folks plan for gatherings and attend gatherings as if we were not in a vicious pandemic. I cannot believe the posts that are being shared in social media.

My big take home point is for folks to not confuse air travel with out-of-town gatherings!

Air Travel is Safe!

Holiday Indoor Gatherings are Dangerous!
