Bird’s Eye View of Chicago at about 10,000 Feet on Thursday, December 16, 2021

Nice flight from Las Vegas’ Harry Reid International Airport back home to Chicago’s Midway International Airport. Wheels Down over Chicago. Chicago is just so scenic, beautiful and awesome!

It was a bit windy in the Windy City as the pilot made that sharp turn over Lake Michigan on final descent into MDW. However, it was such a nice clear day and I took full advantage of my nice window seat to snap some photos. Enjoy!

Out of Las Vegas, cloudy in the Midwest and the classic bungalows in Chicago neighborhoods.
Look at those waves in Lake Michigan. Wind gusts were about 30 miles per hour.
I really love the flight path over Downtown Chicago. This native, lifelong Chicagoan believes that Chicago is the most beautiful city in the USA.
