Friday, November 19, 2021 – Partial Lunar Eclipse!

I had been up all morning. My balcony faces due west, so I knew that I should be able to get a clear view of this morning’s partial lunar eclipse.

Chicago’s night sky had been somewhat overcast and a bit cloudy. But this cold Friday morning, the sky cleared.

At about 2am, I went on my balcony, due west and I was able to see the spectacular celestial event. The moon was a bit orange with a thin shadow covering it. Nevermind…. here are the photos I snapped!
