My favorite restaurant for many wonderful years.

Lawry’s The Prime Rib was my very favorite restaurant located at 100 East Ontario in Chicago.  I was going through some photos and did not realize that I had dined there so many times on different occasions.  It was just so sad that it did not survive the pandemic and subsequent riots on the Magnificent Mile. It was just too much and just so very sad that after 46 years, Lawry’s had to close.

Here are some photos that I took over the years that showed how much fun I had at Lawry’s. I enjoy these memories of one of Chicago’s finest restaurants.

Lawry’s had such a nice bar at the entrance. Such delicious 7&7’s!
The “Spinning Salad” was delicious! The servers were great!
On this occasion, I had the Surf and Turf special. The lobster tail was delicious!
The grillmasters were awesome!!!
Good prime ribs have to be pink.
Of course Pinot Noir as the dinner wine.
Just good family fun at a wonderful restaurant.
