I have lived by along the routes of the Chicago Marathon for many years. I have always been situated where I can easily take photos of the elite runners as they make their way to the finish line.

Due to the pandemic, the 2020 marathon was a virtual event. But, yippee!!!! On Sunday, October 10, 2021, the Chicago Marathon returned as the real deal. I was happy to rally the runners and snap some photos of the return of this grand event.
